NIC Children's Center
The project began with a vision for an outdoor environment that supports early learning through play, discovery, and connection to nature.

Working with staff and an early childhood educator, the design team helped shape a phased plan for a more intentional, education-based play setting.

Set within the natural character of the campus, the site uses existing Ponderosa pines to create a sense of enclosure, comfort, and immersion in the landscape. The result is a play and learning environment designed to feel like an outdoor classroom for young children and the broader college community.
