Kennison Field Athletic Complex
Funded entirely by grants, donations, and in-kind support, Kennison Field transformed a community's athletic facilities and was voted the Best Prep Stadium in Oregon.

The complete renovation of Kennison Field at Hermiston High School was more than a construction project. It was a community effort, funded without a single dollar of taxpayer money.
The complex features one of the highest quality synthetic turf fields in the state, designed to accommodate football, soccer, and lacrosse. An Olympic-caliber synthetic track with individual jumping and throwing stations surrounds the field.
Beyond the field, the complex includes a three-bay concessions area, a covered gazebo and barbecue plaza, a storage facility, improved parking, lighting, and pedestrian safety measures.

The impact has been lasting. An economic study by ECONorthwest found that the district's ability to host events generated over $4.0 million in economic activity and 44 jobs. OSAA playoff games, collegiate soccer matches, and college track meets now regularly come to Hermiston because the facilities can support them.
